Affiliate Disclosure
No live affiliate IDs yet. When U-Haul, Amazon, Tractor Supply, Camping World, or PODS links go live, they will be marked.
Affiliate links (not live)
WeighHere (weighhere.com, also weighhere.netlify.app) may include affiliate links in the future. As of 16 Sep 2026, no affiliate IDs are embedded in this build. When links go live, they will be clearly marked as affiliate links or partnerships.
Programs under consideration
- U-Haul via CJ Affiliate (Commission Junction)
- Amazon Associates for weight-distribution hitches, portable scales, and related products
- Tractor Supply via Partnerize/Pepperjam for tongue-weight gauges and farm equipment
- Camping World via FlexOffers for RV-related products
- PODS or other moving and storage services if a program becomes available
There is no CAT Scale consumer affiliate program that we found. CAT Scale links on this site are not monetized.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link passes a referral identifier to the destination site. If you make a purchase or sign up for a service after clicking that link, WeighHere may earn a commission. The commission does not increase your cost. The price you pay is the same whether you use an affiliate link or go directly to the site.
Editorial independence
Listings on WeighHere are compiled from public sources: CDFA county tables, CAT Scale public pages, operator websites, ScaleRegistry, Caltrans, ADOT, and county facility pages. No scale pays to be listed. No affiliate program dictates which scales appear or how they are described.
If a U-Haul affiliate link appears on a guide page in the future, it is because U-Haul is a common moving truck, not because U-Haul paid for editorial placement. The same applies to Amazon or Tractor Supply: if a product is mentioned, it is because it is relevant to weighing a civilian rig, not because an affiliate program demanded it.
Marking affiliate links
When affiliate links go live, they will be identified. Methods may include visible labels ("affiliate link"), footnotes, or a disclosure statement on the page where the link appears. FTC guidelines require clear disclosure. WeighHere will follow those guidelines.
Transparency
This disclosure is written before any affiliate program is live. When partnerships are verified and IDs are issued, this page will be updated to reflect which programs are active. The About page will also note when affiliate links ship.
If you have questions about affiliate relationships or believe a link should be disclosed more clearly, contact ahalvor@gmail.com.
No fake IDs
We do not invent affiliate IDs or insert placeholder tracking codes. If a program is "under consideration," it means no ID is embedded. When an ID goes live, it will be real, verified, and disclosed.
